My new book, Raglei Yaakov: Yaakov Astor on the Parshah, is now available on Amazon.
It collects my writing on the weekly parshah, from Bereishis on. Every piece begins with the words of the Chumash and Rashi. From there, some go into science and history, some into stories of gedolim and people I knew, and some into the news of our own time.
The title comes from the pasuk “Vayisa Yaakov raglav,” Yaakov lifted his feet. Rashi explains that after Yaakov received Hashem’s promise of protection, “his heart lifted his feet, and they became light to walk.”
Raglei Yaakov is available in paperback, hardcover and Kindle.
