Rav Avigdor Miller on Tefillah
Rav Miller can help you open the gates of tefillah!
Of all the many hashkafah topics that Rav Miller spoke about, the subject of tefillah was, without a doubt, one of his specialties. Tefillah offers so many opportunities for spiritual growth and for developing our relationship with Hashem, but Rav Miller would often bemoan the great misfortune of Jews who spend so much of their lives davening without ever internalizing the lessons or realizing the profundity of the words they say day after day.
Now Rabbi Yaakov Astor, editor of Rav Avigdor Miller on Emunah and Bitachon, Rav Avigdor Miller on Olam Haba, and Rav Avigdor Miller — His Life and His Revolution, has created another masterful work by collecting and adapting Rav Miller’s timeless words and thoughts on the critical topic of tefillah. Rav Miller’s practical, incisive approach never fails to inspire, and this book is sure to revitalize your understanding and appreciation of tefillah and breathe new life into your relationship with Hashem. -
Rav Avigdor Miller on Emunah and Bitachon
Rav Miller's words come to life in this fascinating new book!
Virtually every decision we make is affected by our grasp of the principles of emunah and bitachon (faith and trust in Hashem). But where do we turn to gain clarity about these issues, to find answers to our many questions?
Rav Avigdor Miller, zt"l, answered that need for thousands of Jews, and more than a decade after his passing, he continues to do so. Rav Miller left behind a vast legacy of recorded shiurim and writings. Now, thanks to the efforts of Rabbi Yaakov Astor, an important part of that legacy has been transformed into this monumental book.
The themes of emunah and bitachon permeated a great many of Rav Miller's shiurim and seforim, but the material was scattered in many different places and was thus hard to access. Now, that eye-opening material has been collected, assembled and organized into a fascinating question-and-answer book, a book that will answer your questions and bring you clarity when you need it most. Rav Miller's bold, straightforward approach sheds a brilliant light on the most troubling, thorny issues that confront us. His crystal clear Torah wisdom will profoundly impact your life.
"This sefer will surely enlighten and inspire every reader." -- Rabbi Shmuel Miller, Rosh Yeshiva, Yeshiva Gedolah Bais Yisroel -
Rav Avigdor Miller on Middos
Rav Miller spoke about middos more than any other subject. He not only spoke about middos more than anything else, but he also called the study of middos “the most urgent of subjects” and the “great battle” — meaning that, of all the battles a person has to wage in this world against the yetzer hara, “the battle of middos [is] more [urgent] than anything else.” Not only is our Olam Haba dependent upon fighting this battle, but so is our Olam Hazeh — including our marriage, our job, and our relationships with people.
Rav Miller was a generational teacher, a gadol baTorah whose long and incredible career helped bring about a revolution in the Torah world. To him, the subject of middos was more important than ever not only for its intrinsic worth but also because it was underappreciated, if not neglected. Middos is the measure of who we are as individuals and as a people.

Rav Avigdor Miller on Olam Haba
Live life on a whole new level!
We live in a world where our soul-instincts are dulled by the common culture. Creeping materialism and non-Torah values slip into our consciousness without us even realizing it, robbing us of a tangible belief in the World to Come. As Rav Miller explains, the main attack of the yetzer hara is on our belief in Olam Haba.
This book -- a collection of Rav Miller’s teachings on the topic of Olam Haba -- is an attempt to correct that, to restore Jewish belief in Olam Haba to its rightful place. Belief in Olam Haba is the pinnacle of our emunah, right alongside belief in Hashem Himself, as Rav Miller often explained.
A profound feeling of emunah in Hashem and Olam Haba can help us face the challenges of everyday life -- including its highs and lows, victories and frustrations -- with a calmness and seriousness otherwise unattainable.
This book is a journey that can change you forever -- and for the better.
